William Spratling design "Apprentice Bracelets"
A few "Apprentice" bracelets are still being made by Mexican artisans who, as boys and young men,
worked under the direction of William Spratling in Taxco, Mexico during the period from the early 1930's
until Spratling's death in 1967.  Sterling jewelry pieces produced during that time period and bearing
Spratling's hallmark are highly valued collectors' items today (See
